Dila Toksal is an architect who was born in Izmir, Turkey. Izmir is a city layered with historical and architectural richness, from ancient Smyrna to the modern Mediterranean. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Design from Politecnico di Milano in March 2025.

Her work is driven by a deep interest in the emotional and cultural dimensions of space. With a background rooted in both analytical precision and artistic sensibility, she approaches architecture as a medium of empathy — one that shapes how people feel, connect, and live.

Dila’s design ethos values clarity, timelessness, and material honesty. She is particularly drawn to projects that engage with memory, craft, and urban narrative.

She is currently working alongside Han Tümertekin, contributing to projects that explore the intersection of architecture, place, and poetics.
